RDF are celebrating our first anniversary as a research group at the University of Nottingham! You are warmly invited to join us on Wednesday 18/03/2026 for a fantastic event running throughout the day from 11:00 - 16:00 that will:

• Showcase RDF research and progress over the last year to the wider Uni community

• Seek new connections between people and research interests

• Solidify and promote our identity as a research group

In December Anna Maria Piskopani presented the Gendernet project to the Responsible Digital Futures research group.  Gendernet was funded by UKRI EPSRC Horizon Digital Economy Research as part of a Welfare campaign and explored the impact of online misogyny and sexism on participation and wellbeing. A newly published report which captures the findings of this research and includes experiences of research participants in their own words, offers a powerful insight into the realities faced by many online. It also examines how the law is responding to online misogyny and includes links to valuable resources for anyone affected.
